As the capital of Finland, Helsinki is a vibrant city on the Baltic Sea renowned for its design and friendly atmosphere. The venue is at Aalto University's School of Business, which is located right in the city center.

Call for Industrial and Applications Papers

The Industrial Track of ICDE 2016 solicits high quality submissions describing ideas and implementations in all areas of data management relevant to industrial applications, including innovative commercial and open-source software, experiences in incorporating recent research advances into such software, and deployed practical applications of such software.

Relevant areas include (but are not limited to) big data, database systems, NoSQL technologies, cloud-based systems, information integration, real-time analytics, and data management on new hardware. Innovativeness of software and the potential of impact are key acceptance criteria. Submissions must meet the given due date below.

Important Dates

Submission due: October 19, 2015
Notification of acceptance:December 20, 2015
Camera-Ready copy due:January 25, 2016

Notes for Industrial and Applications Papers

Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the given submission guidelines. Industrial and application papers must not exceed 12 pages.

Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be considered. Please upload your submission to the ICDE 2016 Industrial Track through the CMT submission system. Your submission must be made within the due date specified above.

A paper submitted to ICDE 2016 cannot be under review for any other conference or journal during the entire time it is considered for ICDE 2016, and it must be substantially different from any previously published work. Submissions are reviewed in a single-blind manner.

All accepted papers will appear in the proceedings. The online proceedings may be published as early as March 1, 2016. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if none of the authors attends the conference to present their paper.
